From July 1, 2026, there will be an important change for the transport sector: the Eurovignette will be abolished in the Netherlands. Instead, a kilometer charge will be introduced. This means that trucks will soon pay per kilometer driven, with factors such as the weight, emissions, and CO₂ emission class of the vehicle influencing the rate. The new regulation applies to vehicles over 3.5 tons on most highways and a number of N-roads. Please note: in countries such as Luxembourg and Sweden, the Eurovignette will remain in force.
At Kamps Transport, we are closely monitoring these developments. We are preparing ourselves to be able to continue driving smoothly in this new situation – for our customers and for the future. More information
