Friday 12 September is National Blind Spot Awareness Day. This nationwide initiative by Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) en Veilig Verkeer Nederland draws attention to the dangers of blind spots around large vehicles.
At Kamps Transport, we attach great importance to road safety. The blind spot can be particularly dangerous for children on bicycles or on foot. That is why we wholeheartedly support this initiative.
We have previously used our trucks to contribute to road safety education in primary schools, where pupils were able to experience how limited the view is from a lorry cab. This awareness helps young road users to participate more safely in traffic.
Road safety is a shared responsibility. By making children aware of their position in traffic, we help prevent accidents.
